Post your pile of shame!

No shame in collecting Steam games.

Indeed, and the beauty of Steam is that they aren't going anywhere so you can always download and play them when you fancy a new game.

Though I must say to the OP that you've listed some quality games there so you MUST play them soon! :)

Not going to list them all, but there are lots including Crysis, Crysis 2, Fable 3, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Borderlands, Left 4 Dead, Portal and Payday: The Heist. Damn Steam sales.

Also for some reason I have 4 copies of GTA 4, but I have played the hell out of it.

Way too many to list. I was very proud of myself for not buying anything this Steam Sale but almost as soon as it ended there was the bundle which of course I bought :o

I have no willpower.

yes there is - its called wasting your money, if they just sit there never being played, zero point in owning them.

How is it a waste of money when you support your favourite developers or publishers, ensuring the strong position of steam and support in the gaming community?

Another thing is, its like collecting books for your personal library, knowing that you have access to them any time you want.

Actually not as bad as I thought it would be.

Out of 49 games I've got 21 installed of those 21 I have played 10 for more than half an hour seems bad but seeing as most of them have come from the daily deals thread its not that bad. I stopped pirating Christmas last year so quite happy I'm up to 49 will keep me gaming for ages and this is just from the steam list can't wait for the Christmas sales

Just looked at my list and sadly realised it's as long as the majority of the big ones in here :(

Although in my defence, the majority of those games came as part of bundles that I bought for 1-2 games that would have cost the same as the bundle on their own if it weren't for the sale price.

There's also the still sealed Witcher 2 enhanced edition that I found at the bottom of a Morrison's bargain bin for £7 =D

I have near 300 games on Steam maybe have played 75 at most, and hardly finished any. The reason I have so many? I bought packs in the deals so that I get a game I want and a whole load I may or may not want just for the price of one decent game. I got loads when you used to be able to get like the entire Eidos catalogue or Focus or THQ for about £25 in the early sales! Keeps me busy. It's an addiction I swear!
