Ok, so I'm planning on getting 3 GTX 670's Superclocked 4GB, and I'm wondering if I plugged in 3 monitors, would I only get the performance of one card???

you can run 3 monitors off 1 card.

SLI 2 gtx 670's will give you 70% performance over 1 card.

Adding a 3rd won't add that much you better off just buying a 690 and running 3 monitors off that

Can you answer me this riddle? (Okay maybe not a riddle!) Will I still be able to turn SLi on with 3 of the 670's and have Nvidia Surround on??

of course. sli just means more than 1 card working together. up to a max of 4 on supported mobos.

can ur mobo support tri sli?

u can surround on 1 card u dnt need 3 for tht.

generally there is no point in more than 2 gpus as the gain to cost from the 3rd isnt much

Why have you started three almost identical threads? As well as several about an insane computer which I doubt you have any intention of building? And of course a couple of stupid questions as well? Are you here to waste peoples time? You have claimed that you want to buy two GTX690's, one GTX690, two GTX680's, and now three GTX670's, and you have asked 'can I run three monitors?' repeatedly. As well as claiming that you are going to buy at least 2 different motherboards etc etc... 99% of the 'advice' you have given is useless, misleading or will result in the OP invalidating warranty.

It doesn't take long before someone notices.

Well, I respect your comment, and I will take in what you have said, 1. I will keep to one thread, 2. I have been on many forums asking for help on which GFX Cards are better so therefore I have been chopping and changing, same with the motherboards.3. No I am not here to waste peoples time, I am simply trying to be secure with the new build I SHALL get. About the advice, I'm taking in what I have heard from others, I am just giving advice I have heard elsewhere on the forums.

Thanks for the time, ~Mark

Also, can someone close all my repeated threads?

Hi Mark,

You can comfortably run 3 monitors off 2*670's. I run 3 monitors off 2*680's with no fuss or bother.

As for the people recommending 7950 (which in normal circumstances is a good choice) have to know that X79/X58 + Eyefinity + AMD is a bit of a hit and miss. You can read thread after thread of people having no end of problems/freezing/BSOD with this setup. I wouldn't want to gamble on that, would you?

Back to the OP's question, I would get 2*670 4GB to help future proof more so :)

I was going to go for 3 GFX cards so I don't get too much of a performance loss in terms of FPS.Will 3 cards help me out here at all?

Ok, I made my decision after lots of hard research, I saw that 2 680's would be better than 3 670's. Oh well! Thanks for the help guys!
