Is a 530W PSU enough for this build

Hi,
I am about to build a pc for my brother and was wondering whether the bequiet 530W modular PSU would be enough for this.

Spec:
Gigabyte 7970 Ghz edition
I5 3570K ivybridge (OC'd to around 4.5Ghz)
16 gig RAM
Gigabyte MB

Obviously OCing will use extra power. Judging by a quick look at this website I should be ok:

But any feedback would be useful!

It should be ok. However if he can afford a 7970 surely he can afford a more powerful PSU?

for the HD 7970 220W
I5 3570k With oc around 170W
Motherbord +50W
440W +20% to not stress the PSU 530W at least 42Amps on 12V and u should be OK
With major overkill
In games it will not suck from the wall more then 400W depending on the PSU efficiency

Easy mate ive a 2500k and a gtx 680 and only drawing 300w at full load

I've had a power meter on my pc tower throughout november to test my system long term through all the stresses i put it through.

The peak power draw was 371.4w, thats a i5 2500k @ 4.4ghz (low volt) and gtx 670 @ stock.

Although your reading is possible under an average scenario, it may not be true over a sustained duration of time.

OP, you SHOULD be ok.

Shouldn't go above 450w even on a nice overclock but more important to go with a solid single 12v rail and better warranty imo worth stretching a bit for a psu with 5 year warranty or even better 7.

This will give you an idea scroll to the bottom to see power draw http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/618 cant find link to the cpu system and settings they use though presuming it's an overclocked intel. As you can see it hit 430 watts in metro so closer than you think but should be okay I prefer to not not have a psu at 80-90% + of it's capability but that's just me and always worth the extra for that 5-7 year warranty.
