What games benefit from being on a SSD ?

To be honest, I haven't noticed a massive increase in game load time. Windows 7 boot up time, and applications around the desktop yeah, but not really in games. Slow RAM maybe?

BF3 is the one I've noticed most, both my friend and I are on decent BB connections. His is better than mine by all accounts, and I'm always in game before him.

He's on a mechanical drive, and initiates the game and sends me an invite so he has a head start for loading too.

In Chivalry I am always the first person to load into the round, also arma 2 is pretty damn fast to now. Only downside is moving games on and off when you want to play a different one.

-Any multiplayer game where there is an advantage from entering the map faster (i.e. no countdown, start playing as soon as you join)
-Any game that streams textures from the disk during actual gameplay - I believe STALKER and possibly Oblivion do so
-Any game where there is a large amount of content to load at any point (typically level load) - in most cases this is games with high resolution textures (as a rough guide, any game using over 1.5GB VRAM will likely be loading a lot of data from the disk at some point)

I installed a 512gb vertex 4 specifically for games.
Fast load times are great, but the biggest bonus for me was finally getting rid of micro stutters.
I play a lot of sims FSX and DCS series, every time a new texture was to load of the mechanical drive it would stutter, not a great deal, but enough and frequently enough to detract from the otherwise smooth gameplay.

I put Skyrim on my SSD and it made 0 difference for load times. This is one game I was really hoping would improve as the load times can get annoying, especially when its fully modded.
