Exactly, currently on giffgaff unlimited data for £12 per month, cheapest I can find on the carriers it's locked to is £21.

Edit: that's sim only btw, don't want to be tied in to a 24 month contract.

Virgin mobile do sim only, unlimited data for £12 a month and the sim works on the EE network - its what I'm currently using.

Cheers, do you know what the fair usage policy is on that? (Had a look but couldn't find anything concrete).

jason/unlockfrog: that sucks! lol. returned my red locked device from p4u over a week ago now. :(

but waiting for the order from clove. i hope this coming week

My screen has picked up two scratches despite being kept in a separate pocket from everything else. Never had a problem in two years with my Omnia 7.

Anything i can do to fix it?

Hi All,

There has been a lot of hard work done this end and we are pleased to annouce that Unlock Frog is now unlocking the Lumia 920 (and other models).

It's still not cheap at £54 but crucially can now be done!

A special service has been set up at www.unlockfrog.com/nokia2013.asp

If you have any queries, please ask or email [email protected]

Kind regards

Jason

Good to know some one has got in on this!

Can I just ask if you have had many requests?

Be honest, anyone missing anything from android if you switched from it?

I'm can't speak for Android users, but as a iOS user for the last 3 years I can honest say there is nothing from iOS that I miss so far.

Of course there are a few apps missing, mostly banking apps, but there a mobile versions of the websites to make up for that so I can't even say there's a massive void there either.

I do miss dropping more or less any video file type on, though their seems to be a easy built in conversation when I dragged a season of South Park onto it.

That's a very good point *uninstalls skype* - I just got 8 hours of battery. If this continues It's going to have to be exchanged as faulty.

Have you turned off Tap+Share (NFC)? It's a known battery drain issue and MS needs to sort out.

Tried the Sony NFC portable speakers today just to see if it works. Tap and press Yes, quick and easy. Then immediately turned off NFC. We need an app for quick toggle of NFC settings...

I seem to be having battery issues today. I've barely used the phone (because I'm still waiting for my number to be ported) but it's down to < 30% already after having a full charge last night.

My iPhone 4, with more usage, is at 84%!

I've turned off pretty much everything but I haven't been able to plug the battery leak.

iPhone 4 has Wifi on, so does the Lumia.
Bluetooth, NFC and Location is all turned off.

It's only been 8 hours since my last charge. 8 hours of very light use and no phone calls doesn't seem right to me.
From looking at the graph from Battery Level it looks like it's draining whenever it's on Wifi. The spot where it slows down is when I went into town and it was running purely on 4G.

I've only had the phone two days. Is this likely to improve with time?
Should I be turning Wifi off? (never had to do that with iPhone)
