Can you Recommend me a TV colour calibration tool

The spyder isn't that great but if you pair it up with the hcfr software then you could get a half decent calibration.
By the way I have seen that spyder for £75 elsewhere. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/S4TV100-D...ting_Software_Software_SR&hash=item3f1de34eaa

The one recommended to me was the x-rite i1 Display Pro for £160 which is supposed to be really good.

Or you could have someone out to your house and do it for around £300 which would get the best results.

I went for the spyder elite which I am sure was less than £100. This will calibrate all your pc screens which does make a difference. Especially with an LED screen which tend to have a blue tinge. The TV part for the elite is around £30.

The main thing for me was it gave noticeable improvements with minimal effort. Literally attach to screen you want to calibrate, click go, come back in 2 mins and its sorted a custom colour profile.

Agreed that getting a pro in would be best. But you can keep this thing for years and only pay out once.

I looked at getting one of these before. I'm tempted by the Spyder 4 pro. I have a 23" IPS monitor and 60" plasma connected to my pc, I'd want it to calibrate both and it looks like it will do it.

HIJACK.....I have one of the Eye One Display 2 gizmo's sat in a draw at home.

It it fairly straight forward to use this to calibrate my Sammy ES8000? and if so, what else do I need to achieve this?

Cheers
