Hello everyone,

I have decided its time for an upgrade and I have to stop using my awful 7yo pc and 3yo laptop and decided to build a proper gaming pc I will also store projects, films, music and games on it. Not super top notch one, not extreme budget one but something in the middle, since I am not an expert I would love to hear your opinions. I have a mouse&keyboard etc.

The only thing I would change, and its only down to personal preference is the GPU. I would go for the Gigabyte Windforce.
I know you dont get as many games, but the cooler is supposed to be one of the best.

Also you could change the Ram to 1600MHz and Low Profile so you wont have any issues if you decide to change the cpu cooler

Ahh I see, I don't really care so much about the games, my friend has recommended me a 7950 but I wasn't so sure. I don't know too much about good graphics cards tbh

I will stick to the stock one for now, but I will get the h100i in January when I will get the student loan

The 7950 is a great card

You cant go far wrong with either to be honest. If it were my choice I would choose the Gigabyte, but then others might chose the Msi twin frozr. I just like the triple fan setup, and it helps keep the card nice and cool under load while also keeping the noise down

I would get phantecs air cooler, its 40 quid cheaper and is not louder and doesnt cool worse.

Just noticed the SSD too. You might as well get the one with Norton Ghost, unless you already have a copy.
