Advice on what cpu to get....

Iv already said its not overheating. the temps are low and the same they have always been and thats the first thing you check when you have an issue like this. Either way it will be sorted now with changing to this bundle :D. Reguarding the card. Is it worth getting something like the 7970 ghz model and ocing or can you get just as good performance with overclocking the 7950 model. Will this new cpu at 4.40 bring the best out of an overclocked 7970?

Thanks for the help so far.

The 7950 is a very good overclocker and bang for buck is much better value than the HD 7970.

Running both the 7950 and 7970 at stock the difference in performance you would be hard pushed to notice. I think its about 5%, if you want a HD 7950 ask the question in the graphic card section as they will be better able to tell you which one is best/quietest etc.

I recieved my overclockers bundle today its the....Krypton Z77 660i" Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz DDR3 Ivybridge Overclocked Bundle.

Connected everything up heatsink, fans, connectors. Turned on the pc and it turns on for 2 seconds then turns off. turns on again for 2 seconds then turns off and just repeats... The fans are spinning and i can hear things starting but it just keeps doing this over and over. Any help? could it be the internal connector cables..the ones that are tiny that all connect next to each other i think there for the front panel module. power led, power switch, reset switch, hd, activity, speak ect or are those just for the leds? There the small ones where you get orange/white blue/white connecters ect.
and wouldnt actually cause this issue im having?

dont know what to do about it.

thought i would post this here aswell..

Is something fault or blown? Could it be the overclock thats on the board? it doesnt get to the point of showing anything on the screen just powers for 2 seconds then turns off and repeats.

could it be the overclock that they have put on it, Should i reset the cmos and will this mean i wont be able to get there overclock settings back on it?
