Just thought I'd start a little debate here, I personally am an atheist, (a non prophet organisation :p ) but I have friends that are christian.
What I wonder is, a lot of people find ghosts and aliens preposterous to ponder the reality of them existing, They'd have to see them to believe them, but if they find it so difficult to believe in ghosts and aliens, how comes they can believe in god? No proof he exists, just myths and tales from long ago.
Thoughts?

You're asking why people who believe in God don't automatically believe in ghosts and aliens too?

That's enough internet for you today.

The fact that you seem to doubt the existence of alien life forms worries me.

I personally believe in ghosts and aliens, it is silly to think we are the only race in a universe as vast as ours, let alone the infinite possibilities of other universes and all the planets.
I've never seen aliens, but there is more creditability to their existance than a god, I suppose its because I believe in the Darwin evolutionary theory, albeit he was a pro nazi. Surely what one must ask is what created god? life forms can be created after the big bang, thats what the "god particle" debate was all about IIRC.

So, let me get this straight. You're claiming that Charles Darwin, who died in 1882, was a supporter of the Nazi party? A political party that didn't get going until around 1919-1920. How does that work then?

Guys, I think we should probably leave Monkey00 and the Squarehead94 to it.

We can't stop their nonsense but we might be able to confine it to this one thread.

Think it's because religion has been conditioned into people then they in turn condition it into their kids.

a lot of religion to me too seems based upon fear. For example you do this you'll go to hell for eternity!!! you do that you'll be excommunicated. What is the strongest human emotion? that's right fear.

Who tells their kids if they don't believe in aliens they will go to hell?

Time for this weeks joke...

what does the bible and harry potter have in common?

THEY'RE BOTH FICTION..... SHABANG!!!
