He isn't allowed in there when we aren't in anyways, but he runs around like a mad thing in the evenings even if we are there and his claws catch.
We take the fleeces off if we have guests though.

You underestimate the depth of my sofa, it's just an optical illusion created by the gown, her legs were actually pulled in ala fetal position.
She was so gonzo'd that I was able to change all the bed linen before she woke up.
