Who do you bank with? Lloyds / Natwest / HSBC mobile web interface works great, especially if you pin it, click, login and go. It's a shame Banking apps aren't out yet - it did take banks awhile before it even released for iOS / andriod, so pinned page will work for now.

Good call really in terms of pinning the page.

Bank of Scotland would be one of my banks which has the same interface as Lloyds for online, however with the main one being RBS its a bit different.

Gonna have to weigh up the pros and cons on this one simply on the basis that I have renewed my XBox Music subscription, while I know an app is on its way to Android and iPhone I could make the switch.

Plus a bit easier now having only effectively paid £49 for my one XL I can sell it on and change at minimum fuss.

Now Unlock Frog has access to the databases, I've bought a new Lumia 920 in black from Everything Everywhere for £409.99 including the free headphones & wireless charger (also black). Will be using the phone on 3 once it's unlocked, but it's handy having an Orange SIM - will be seeing the Hobbit soon!

Marvin, have you heard back from Unlock Frog yet with regards to your unlock code?

It's a bit lacking in instructions, open the app, select your photo. THEN get the qr tag inside the box and you should be up and running.

It would make sense to me to scan the tag first, then select a photo....

Well you need to select a starting point in the photo album somehow.

One thing that is really grinding my gears right now with WP8... not just being able to pick an alarm or ringtone from your already installedMP3s.

Why you have to crop them (less than 40s and 1mb) and stick them in a ringtone folder is beyond me, seems utterly backwards.

Some songs have slow intros? not to mention you might want a different part of the song other than the intro.

Nokia have released a Ringtone Maker app so you can choose which part of the song you want, check the Nokia collection.

Hi guys,

Finally joined the forum after reading about 60 pages :). I'm definitely going to get a Lumia 920 (iPhone 5 at the moment) but I'm waiting for the grey one. Looks like it's not going to be super easy to get one but I think slowly they will start to appear. The Asia pacific region seems to be the first.

There's a new unboxing on youtube now if anyone wants to check it out...

The trouble with these colours not being made available when launched is, by the time you get the colour you want, another new phone will be on the horizon and you'd give up and wait for that and the cycle repeats.

I really want the Grey one but hey-oh, I'm enjoying all of my Lumia since launch and Black is sexy anyway. An iPhone 4S friend got a nerdgasm when he saw mine and is getting one instead of the iPhone 5.

My advice is, if you want it, get it. Waiting on technology will almost always get you nothing if you're a tech drooler like me.

And their is NOTHING at all to tell you that, all that happens is you open to your gallery with no instructions, a simple bit of text saying..choose what picture to send, would have done it.

So is the best deal the in-store EE one @ 409.99? Is this readily available with the Headphones and Wireless Charger?

Not that I'm trying to convince myself or anything.

The site itself doesn't help either:-

1. INSTALL
Install PhotoBeamer on your phone, from the Store.

2. SCAN
Scan the QR code with your phone.

3. SHOW
On your phone, flick through the pictures in your album.

When I got from install to the albums I thought "how'd I scan the code?"

It's a photo sharing app, so it's pretty blooming obvious that you would select what you wanted to share.

Geez, it's no wonder Microsoft invented wizards.

Uninstall it if you can't work out how to use it. It was *free*, didn't cost you anything.

Giles, I think that's a little harsh. The app is nice but there wasn't enough information for users with no experience.

Have a look at this video, it's better than the instructions.

I can see the point of why some might want to do it, that is the same on any platform. But it would be nice to have the option to just select any already existing mp3, that's what I don't understand. I haven't had to edit and make my own ringtone/alarm for about 5 years. It's just a bit odd.

Edit: Downloading ringtone maker now, software that was missing from the start really. I had to use an online site to cut my mp3 which was really nice to use actually, but would the average joe know how to do this? Should they even have to do this?

Oh crap:

Stock delayed - now expect to dispatch orders on Friday 07 December. - Clove UK

Had a feeling that was going to happen after the Expansys stock got delayed too, seems Clove just took a little bit longer to confirm it.

They must both be getting it from the same supplier then!

A good ringtone needs to be made by cut and edit, unless it's William Tell Horse Race music. If average joe don't know how to do that, likely hood is, they'll google it or pay some premium sms for a 30s clip made for them.

Been clipping my own Ringtones since .wav can be played on mobile phones. Nothing beats Audacity plus LAME MP3 output for ease of positioning and speed.

I don't disagree with what you or Giles are saying. My only point is that sometimes I just want to pick an MP3 without cutting, end of!

That option isn't there and it makes me :(

My alarm tune on the SGS2 was These Days by The Foo Fighters, nice slow intro to wake me up, then into a the full song. I can't have that anymore because alarm tones have the same restrictions. Sometimes I don't want to fart about making one.

Anyway, seems I'm alone on this. Must just be me :p
