What's the lowest cost it would be for a good graphics card to play games? At the moment I play CoD, portal type games on my PS but wanting to use my comp a bit more for similar and racing games.

I have been offered a card as a xmas present and was just wondering what I can get away with without breaking my girlfriends bank balance.

You would be better off giving us a budget and asking for options within that budget. Also if you could list a couple of specific games (version of COD etc) then that would help us to grasp your minimum power requirement so to speak.

Games I will most definitely play are Assassins Creed 3/Farcry3/F1/Black Ops 2.

I would like to be able to tackle any game to be honest but I know it's hard on a budget of around £150.
