Also, if you get a red card, how about you go and pick the parcel up, respond to your secret santa when they tell you where to pick it up and that it is still waiting there. Instead of it being sent back and bloody forward again, only for them to lose it the second frigging time.

:o

Can you roast a Turkey?

Indeed, especially if it's my present that is delayed ;)

And the same for you Mr Burnsy! Don't be late with my gifts this year or else.;)

Amazed at the amount of people who have ordered online gifts...there is still the high street people and then you don't have to worry about delivery charges and waiting AND gambling on said gift not being right/damaged...

There is still a massive advantage in going and physically getting the presents yourself you know...:o

In before "This is an internet forum" etc etc

A lot of online shoppers will find online discount codes, companies that do free/cheap/fast delivery/returns and I'm sure the majority of online shoppers will do all the necessary research (looking for images, videos, reviews, price comparisons etc) before making their purchases.

I prefer online shopping as I don't like queuing, online is generally cheaper, don't have to fight my way through the crowded streets or play parking wars and pay silly car park prices.

All valid points there :) I guess I take working in Manchester City Centre for granted. As I find it easier to nip out on my dinner hour on a Tuesday and just pick stuff up. Generally nice and quiet and the only thing I have to worry about its getting it all home on the train later on

The OH doesn't work in a town/city centre so I know he is doing all his present shopping online - plus he can sod off if he thinks I am driving him to the Trafford Centre on a Saturday *shudders* I am 100% with you on the whole parking your car thing.

Trafford Centre + December + Saturday = NIGHTMARE

It's just easier (read lazier) getting stuff online. I do my grocery shopping online now a days...

Stalk target, find out what kind of thing they like, google something along that theme, (or firebox), find present. Purchase, wait for order. Sorted. Rather than going into a shop and hoping they have the thing you're looking for.

Fewer stock issues online :p
