Dumb as **** he is banned from Riot sponsored tournies (all except DHACK only one worth mentioning?) This is the problems with riot forcing the scene, can pull the plug at any second

Did you seriously just ****ing say that? Of all the problems that might be involved with Riot sponsoring the scene, this certainly isn't one. It's about time that the pro players learnt they need to act like professionals, conduct on the pitch is important in every single other sport. It's not like you can just go play on your other account in football and it's about time that these games stopped that crap aswell (since that was the main reason most people don't care about bans, especially pros, because they have multiple smurf account).

Stevie Gerrard can go play football with his mates in the park, give them the finger, call them a nob, he won't get banned from playing the premier league.
His account can should be rightly banned, but you let everyone else start a new account and so will he, nothing to do with playing in the season stuff
No, his account should be banned. Banning him from that season thing that riot throw money at, no, he should be able to play on a new account like everyone else who gets banned.
Lets not forget the 'punishment' that was handed out to the cheaters in the season 2 finals, you know, something that actually matters.

Just banning the account means nothing, It's against the ToS to be abusive etc, so he is rightly banned, if Steven Gerrard continually swore at the officials every game what do you think would happen?
Also at high ELO it's very rare that people get reported so he must have been pretty bad to be in the tribunal 9 different times...
I'm not disputing his account being banned, it should've been banned 7 tribunals ago (guessing that is like some sort of hilarious court). I'm disputing ruining the guys job from tournaments where lets be honest, he can take part in all non riot tournaments, only one worth doing which didn't sell out is dreamhack for something he did outside tournaments and I'm guessing that behaviour doesn't exist in them.
Also if they're going to ban players for what they say in game from tournaments they can start banning them for what they say on skype on stream, or maybe you know actually ban people who cheat at tournaments.
(Ps. Gerrard swears at referees every match, maybe giving the finger would be a better example but that is in a constantly competitive tournament, we are comparing tournaments to a kick about with mates (pub matches).)

I love all the changes, makes the game fresh even with old champs
So many people QQing though, how can people not be bored of the old set-up and meta yet?

Just played an ARAM to try a bunch of new items.. Out of 10 players 6 were crying all game that the changes suck and should be changed back 
Idiots!
Some of the items are really cool though.
Applying a blizzard to an ally that slows enemy champs - cool
Active that basically cleanses an ally - super cool
Upgraded boots - super cool
Upgraded aegis - nice!

Toxic players will continue to be toxic players until something major happens. I've got "friends" that are on their 3rd or 4th accounts due to repeatedly getting banned for raging and flaming in every game. Have they changed? No.
I highly doubt he would change just from having to make a smurf a new main, this however, well let's just say i reckon he'll think twice about his behaviour. (and he has, as he posted on reddit.)
Well deserved in my opinion.

You are kinda right, I guess we should think of it as players actually fighting, and Riot make the rules, tbh they are just using IWD as an example to show that no one is safe.
Yes, I'm far more interested in the further reaching implications that might result from a more professionally conducted esport scene then discussing a patch I've only had 2 days to play on with a lot of people who's input on such things I don't value very highly.
