I've had a G-Shock for the best part of ten years now so I've certainly had my moneys worth. Unfortunately the trusty old beast is literally falling to bits now.

I'm looking to go analog for a change and see how I like it but would like something with a few dials to keep me entertained. The one in the pic below (Fossil FS4487) is an option and only 90 notes however I've never heard of Fossil watches. Anyone heard of them? The reviews I have seen look pretty good. Any suggestions for something of a similar style and no more than say £100 - £150? Many thanks :)

My trusty G-Shock G100 finally fell to pieces about 3 weeks ago after well over a decade of daily wear. I simply paid £30 for a new bezel and strap (from the US) and fitted it. It was odd to realise how much my 'black' watch had faded towards a dark green but with the new outers it is now black and wonderful again. :) I have fallen in love with it all over again. It is the only watch I have ever had (and I have had a lot over the past 20 years) which I haven't scratched or destroyed within a couple of months.

They're certainly robust aren't they! I was tempted to replace the straps as apart from that and the bezel that fell off and got lost when I was out and about it still works absolutely fine. Maybe I'll do that and keep it for a spare. I sure won't be throwing it away when it's replaced.

Without doubt buy another G Shock - they're awesome watches and I love mine

// Edit this one is mine - it's an old DW9000M model but still going strong:

Also, without meaning to hijack your thread OP can anyone link me to where they can buy a new bezel / strap for their G Shocks please?

That will probably end up with awfull scratches with the bare metal showing through after a few weeks/months.

i do like that fossil watch pictured, depends if you want to take the risk or to stay safe and get another gshock personally i woul go with the fossil and repair your gshock best of both worlds.:D

This place stocks some parts. They only stock straps and no bezel for mine though so I just emailed them to ask. They may have yours :)

It's tempting! :) That Seiko above looks pretty good too. I'm reading through some reviews and such about it.
