They were good last night, although as I got more & more tired Gomez lost his touch as I'm sure you saw! Although Pato & Welliton sorted me out :) Still toying with keeping Jadson over IF Ronaldinho :eek:

I'm happy to be proved wrong but I don't recall anyone saying they are desperate to buy some more packs since the latest hacking?

At worst a few people have said they are desperate to play a game they paid.

A serious question for you pe3ud0 how much of your time have you spent trading ? And is for that amount worth it considering you could spent say £40 or so to get you started and enjoy a game for 12 months ?

Not saying there is anything wrong with that approach or there is anything wrong with spending X amount on packs. I guess its a question of what value you put on your own time.

Just to be clear not trolling you genuinely interested on peoples thoughts
 
I've only played UT since getting the game and only buy packs with coins.

Personally don't feel the need to drop extra cash on the game as most of the packs have rubbish in them anyway.

Didnt take it as trolling - its a valid question...

Not a chance I would have the amount of coin I have if I just spent £40 on the game if that meant zero trading. The questions pretty much null and void when you have enough coin to reinvest and trade anyhow which is easily achieved in the first few weeks of FUT without the cash input (why most spend big once at the start).

I do probably spend as much/more time trading as I game on FUT, but I enjoy the trading half a lot more than the actual game itself most of the time, I just personally think its far more of an achievement to build a team from scratch than it is just to buy it (think Everton vs Man City I guess :p). As a FYI from Jan this year til now Ive only just about hit 1200 games in FUT12, I dont play that much as Im usually doing other things, but having the webapp on another tab makes trading a nice quick distraction also FUT13 being a crock of **** doesnt help neither...

I would say you can achieve far more in the game once you learn to trade than just using money, its far easier than people think and it doesnt take that much time or risk if you know what you are doing mainly because there are so MANY idiots playing FUT. Because Ive done it since FIFA 11 (mainly due to when PSN went down for months) I find it harder not to make profits, though I am stingy when it comes to buying stuff in the hope that reselling means I break even, so sometimes it takes me a week to make a team rather than a night for some here, I can probably count on my fingers how many players trades Ive made where Ive lossed coin after EA tax.

Im probably far more analytical than most so where you feel the trading system is a means to an end (to play FUT) Im actually more interested in it over the actual game itself. Its like the financial version of FM to me :p. The carrot purely is to build that ultimate team, but not necessarily want to just play it...

I do find it hard to grasp why people are seemingly happy/grudgingly compelled to keep pumping money into FUT considering the substandard service they repeatedly have been getting, you just wouldnt see that with another product or service. It wouldnt be hard to contrive it as an addiction and a few people on here would make some interesting case studies ;):p

its not that difficult to make decent money
The key is to rage sell teams when you get beat :) and keep building new teams
Im stingy when buying and always sell at a profit even if its measly like 50 coins

I do give as good as I get, maybe I should just give **** as thats all you gave there :p

By saying "They have decreased the chance of landing IF Ibra" is not saying "omgzzzzzzzzzzzzz I haz teh monies spent and ready to drop!" Its basically me saying, should I plan to purchase any packs, be with with Fifa Points, or Coins the chances of him dropping compared to any other TOTW are very much lower due to the packs probably being changed over when the servers come up, thusly IF Ibra having 15 hours less of available times than other IF's that have been available before.

Now, go play NFS Most Wanted or keep trading for a game you don't play anymore! :p

The chance is the same, the period of time hes available has reduced, but unless you need to buy packs (with whatever method) 24/7, it ultimately wont impact the overall chance of you getting an IF Ibra ;). Now if you were inferring 24/7 as you dont have an infinite amount of coins, at some point youll need to use real cash and considering you think losing 15hours of availability is going to lead to a 'very much lower chance' I think you sound like youre 'desperate to buy some more packs'

I guess youve started to 'give ****' :p. Now go and play with your green doll ;):D

Having said that... if we assume that fewer packs are bought as a result then the price of IF Ibra will be higher than it otherwise would have been ;)
 
Bit of looking over on Ea forums reveals this

Just to make one thing clear first, I do not work for EA; but I do have access to more information than most of you.

The 15M bid thing was a complex exploit used by a small group of people whose sole purpose was to destroy the FUT economy. The hole that the managed to exploit has been found and plugged by EA.
It will take some time to find and ban all the offending accounts on both Xbox and PS3. I do know that the people in Vancouver are working overtime to get it cleaned up as soon as they can.

I just received feedback from EA. The exploit is indeed iOS App related (not mine!) They have fixed things and are working on getting FUT up and running again.
