Alice Cooper fans out there?

I'm currently listening to "The last temptation" tracks on youtube.

Not as good as Hey Stoopid and Trash.

Any albums similar to those two from Alice?

Ops - my bad :o

And my apologies OP - I'll leave your thread with my favourite AC tune:

To answer your question - yes, I'm a fan :)

No, afraid not. As I said, I tried a lot in the 90s to find similar albums, went through a load and none came up as strongly for me as those two. Everything before those is too tame, everything after a bit naff.

Dad Rock is a ridiculous term.

Absolutely, I'm a 54 year old Dad who's favourite bands are Slayer, Megadeth, Children of Bodom etc and I want to smash the TV when a record company release a Dad Compilation with Phil Collins & Dire Straits on it.

ACDC are considered to be one of the pioneers of the heavy metal rock

I can still remember when ACDC first came out and Sounds & Melody Maker running headlines saying 'Poor mans Status Quo' :D I certainly wouldn't call them 'metal' though. ACDC songs have earned me a lot of money so I can't complain.

They actually do that? I don't have a TV, so not sure [no, I wasn't making a point of the fact that I don't have a TV!]

I once met Alice Cooper at a Rolling Stones gig in Cardiff, he was sitting with Tony Iommi from Black Sabbeth(!) in a cordoned off area with a massive lighting rig behind them both. (There were also some much less interesting minor celebs present - this was the A Bigger Bang tour).

I asked him about golf, he seemed like a lovely chap.

True story.
