A 2012 review - when did GD pleasantly surprise you?

Also just remembered, this was the year we also lost Dirtydog, now i said earlier that bhavv being perma'd was a long time coming but DD being perma'd was possibly the longest perma ever waiting for:p
 
GD has by and large been an unpleasent unsurprise of racism, homophobia, rape apologists and and sexism, its not worth reading, Motors is only barely worth it these days.

Man changes name to woman, man pretends to be a pre op transexual, man goes on making "oh I am a lady" comments at every moment, man supposedly goes to thailand to get the operation, woman who apparently was his gf comes into the game, it gets silly.

Turns out it was a terrible and weird trolling event. Very entertaining but all the oddest long running thing though the summer of GD. (There are better cliff notes about)

I remember our summer of love, but I missed the final swinging of the banhammer and what precipitated it. I was hoping that it was something big to finally push the mods over the edge (in fairness, looked like it was on the cards for ages)...
 
Yeah it was a bit of a blur when the gf turned up on the scene and gave the game away badly, there seemed to be some sort of backtracking and a general exposé that the story is all from 4chan or something.
