I suppose the answer is obvious but are all Daily Fail readers as ******* stupid as their reading habits suggest?

One bloke in my office was whining for ages over some **** reporting from the Fail saying that 400k people will be worse off every year because they could fall into the 40% tax bracket under new plans.

They are raising, yes raising, the amount it takes to fall into the band in the first place so hardly likely to put more people in the band even if they get a pay rise larger than the rate increase.

However, the Fail, and the office moron were whining saying they would be worse off earning 40k than 42k... Um.... Wtf!??? The office moron banging on about how he would prefer not to get a pay rise because he would be worse off :rolleyes:

THEY ONLY TAX YOU 40% ON THE AMOUNT ABOVE THE BAND YOU *******!!!!!!!

I hate the Fail and I hate their brain dead readers who let them be led by the nose by their bull!

You should have killed everybody in the office for such an outrage.
 
Im not sure whats worse, the actual garbage the papers come up with, or the sheer idiots who get brainwashed by them.

Either way, its a very depressing state of affairs when we have a whole country of sheep unable to actually think for themselves.
 
I know some people who have the mail delivered every day and have done for decades, and to my surprise they are entirely reasonable!!

Work that one out.
 
It's good you let it out.

The thing about the Daily Mail is that they are interested in the narrative, they write about the most frivolous things and somehow think it is acceptable to just say everything has a causal link. Even if it is totally unrelated.
 
People would rather look at lolcats on the internet than read solid journalism, so the papers give us what we want. Meaningless crap that we can feel angry or happy about. Unbiased reporting is just too boring for most people, if it's even possible.
