gigabyte 7950 or his ice q 7950?

still undecided tbh they both have there pro's and con's.
in the meantime of waiting to decide i am about to buy a h60 well the ocuk one and a dvd drive flap coverer for my shinobi case! lol i need to decide this is getting expensive lol!

dont suppose anyone has had experience with this cooler?:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-002-TL&groupid=701&catid=2330&subcat=2262

also the his is currently out of stock so not sure if to wait for it to come on a deal then will be pretty cheap for a 7950 normally they take like £10 off so would end up being about £229

the gigabyte is currently £259.99 reduced to £251.99
and the his is currently £239

Id wait ive seen the GB WF card down to £219 before!! thats £40 which is a big chunk!

Still i would go with GB over the other cards, i have GB 660 in this PC and its silent even when gaming its silent and gets up to 56% on fans with 55C max temp.

I dunno if the AMD would change that since the fans are the same except u have 3x?

Are either of these cards (gigabyte wf3 7950 + his ice Q 7950) voltage locked?
As I will be overclocking and want to get some decent clocks.

personally i think the extra money is worth it for the 7950 the life of that card before a new card is required will be longer.

his 7950 it is shame there out of stock!!!grrrr wanted a toy for the weekend:D

Then get the WF3 7950, mine is not voltage locked. What do you do for a living chris, do hope it doesn't involve decision making. LOL.:p
i run the country............:p

im a profeesional chef (head chef)

and yes your correct wages are crap and the hours suck! luckily i work for the goverment(now with a private company with the benefit of my goverment contract so its not as bad as 'normal chefs' (im a spy chef!)

lol

Some people have trouble making a choice. I can be like that too.

yep im awful been burned twice with the 7950(damn you msi!! shakes fist towards the air) so makes it even worse just wanna get the best one i can regarding cooling, noise and warranty:D

damn you you have me looking at the wf3 again now!!!!!! i did notice it has 3 years warranty where the his is only 2.

is gigabyte a better build quality? does it have the 7970pcb? 6+8 pin power connectors?

man im annoying myself let alone you lot who have to read this pityful poop!:p:D

on the upset by the time im finished making my mind up i cant start thinking of the new gpu's! and this will be a fairly good guide for anyone who wants one of these cards!hahahaha

Yes chris, 3yr warranty, uk Rma (biggie for me), no 7970pcb, definately 2 X 6 pin, certainly nothing wrong with the build quality, cannot compare with the IceQ though I believe tommybhoy had both cards. Disappointing TWO price from Ocuk though as these cards should be flying out the door.;)
