Last day to find missing £64m lottery ticket

You have to be a bit of a moron to do the lottery. Its for the statically impaired. Even more so to not even keep track of your numbers. What a tool.

Something wrong with supporting all those good causes the money goes to and having an opportunity to win money is there? As for not winning, lmao, do you think they've made all the winners up or something?

What happens if you lose your computer ? :D

You no longer get over excited by the email telling you that your winnings will be paid into your account soon and then the dawning and most disappointing realisation that it's only a tenner after spending a furious five minutes trying to get the results up to compare to your numbers and instead carry on with life as if such sillyness didn't exist?

Honestly don't think I could live with myself after finding out.

What a sad thing to say. How can you miss something you've never had!

Are you kidding? We're not talking a couple of thousand here but utterly life changing money. As much of a tool as the ticket holder is, it's a GUARANTEED 64 million he actually had won by simply handing in a small piece of paper. 64 MILLION pound coins. A once in a lifetime opportunity to turn your life into paradise. Everything you ever wanted and more, and no more job. How could anyone ever get over that. I'd be depressed for the foreseeable future and beyond. And think how many mars bars you could buy

Yeah, had those quite a few times... I recieve a text whilst in bed or out saying I have won money on the lottery, I get all excited till I can get to a computer to check thinking of all the possibilities... £2.80 on the Euromillions so I get 80p and my money back whoop dee doo

If you don't get it you weren't meant to. Money doesn't change your life, only you do.

While it's easy to be philosophical, and while what you said is true, I'd defy anyone on the planet except a buddhist monk not to be completely devastated by missing an opportunity to claim instant wealth when it's handed to them on a plate. Even you.

i dunno look at it this way the lottery gives huge sums of money to lots of charities, its not much different to buying a ticket at a charity raffle, just a much much bigger raffle.

If it was handed to me on a plate I would have grabbed it and not missed the opportunity.

If I was in the wrong place at the time then the opportunity was never mine in the first place.

If i had put in my chosen numbers every week from when the Lottery started I would have won just over 10 million 4 years ago, does that bother me? No.

If I had been at the right place at the right time one of my best friends may still be living right now. But I decided to be else where. Does that bother me? No

Its life, you define it, you live with it, you choose what to do with it. :)

Bottom line is if you play the game you should follow it through to the end and check the results.

I can only imagine the ticket holder experienced some sort of event which prevented them from doing this.

Not all lost as the unclaimed winnings have been put into Camelo... I mean the good causes fund.... :D
