It's fair to say I'm probably a glass is half empty person a lot of the time. Not unhappy by any means and I have a really fantastic life, but sometimes I need to stop and think about the good things.
In GD (and I dread to think what happens in GH) we spend a lot of time speccing washing machines, arguing about flaming ***** monsters and mocking the afflicted, but why don't we take a moment to talk about the good things in life?
What makes us happy? My family certainly does, my children are a hoot but I'll save that for later if others join in.
My dogs give me so much and take relatively little. Dogs and humans have no right to work as well as we do together, but it is a perfect relationship. Show them love and get it back with a multiplier effect.
Snowboarding is a big love for me. A lot of my life is structured around it and riding powder has to be one of the best feelings you can have. At least 6 of the best moments I can remember have been in the mountains (I have two kids and I am married so somewhere in the top 10 those days have to be and I wouldn't like the wife to press me too much on where my wedding day would sit in there.)
So GDers, share some feel good stuff with us. What thrills you and makes you feel ace?
