My GF said that we are not getting anything bigger than the 50" panasonic plasma we have in the living room. So i am going to get an optoma 1080p projector and a 120" screen and put it in the bedroom (should only cost about £700-£800).

I have not told my GF yet - it will be a surprise

Just buy it and stop being a fanny.

You dont tell her how many and what pairs of shoes to buy, amount of makeup she is allowed, what phone to buy or how to decorate the house (woman always chose this).

Just buy the tv and tell her to enjoy it rather than complaining about it.

I'm happy with the 46 to be fair, I sit 8 feet from the tvdon't really need any bigger.

The only itch I have to scratch in the future TV wise is a PJ and pull down screen.
