Duchess of Cambridge's nurse has reportedly been found dead

She was a mother of 2 children.....what could have been happening to her that is so bad that she would kill herself and let the kids grow up without a mother ?

It may sound crappy but I don't think she deserves respect after abandoning her kids.

Oh look, someone with clearly no experience of mental illness talking about how suicide is something we should shame people for, brilliant, that's exactly what this world needs.

Disgraceful that some posts are allowed on this forum.

You have no idea how to address the British Monarchy and you have no urge to learn. You're the authority on the correct course of action to be undertaken should you answer the phone to them. Is this correct? Your signature is laughably ironic.

And yet again, missed the point entirely. The POINT was there should have been security measures in place.

If I rang a hospital and they pronounced my surname incorrectly, do you think I'm going to give a dam knowing that at least the member I was interested was protected sufficiently.

Or be like you and start crying on the phone about how they said it wrong.

what a narrow minded view point - you appear to have no insight into how other people might think
there people who are mindful of the opinion of others, are terrified of breaking rules, have a high sense of shame and dignity, and those who suffer from clinical depression...
this poor woman may have been like that - and a stupid prank, that would otherwise cause only some embarrassment to most, in her case it was just too much
the DJs had no right expose an unwilling member of the public to the potential of such stress

There will have been 2 young kids sat waiting for there mother to come home to them, That's not happening now but that's ok because shame and dignity come before kids you say ?
How about she take responsibility for the life she brought into the world like any decent parent.

You want to share your mental problems with me ?

Whether you're addressing the queen or not is irrelevant. The point being made is that there should be some kind of measure put in place to ensure the strict confidentiality of patients is being met.

you have a lot of trouble empathising with other ways of thinking
suicide is never the correct course of action, yet it happens frequently, ergo - in some people a sequence of events will cause this to happen

say for example you had a fixed belief that committing suicide was the only way forward - nevermind how you reach this conclusion - could you then see why some do it?

Maybe this just tipped her over the edge? Really tragic but if this was a good part of why she did it I still see it as being her fault, silly just to take you're own life like that.

ever heard of a psychotic episode?

ever heard of a psychotic episode?

precisely - an underlying tendency for psychosis can remain dormant, and surface only in extreme stress
edit: this reminds me of my medical training. i had an training attachment at broadmoor where they have a wing just for women who commit infanticide. there's a phenomenon called puerperal psychosis that happens in completely normal women after birth, when they go crazy (literally) and can kill their newborn

If she was that far gone, what on earth was she doing working in a hospital looking after others.

She must have had some underlining mental health issue I can't believe someone would top themselves over this still it doesn't make it any less sad.

Extreme stress ?
She passed a phone call through.........the British born nurse is the one who should have noticed that it wasn't the queen because the queen doesn't sound 20 something.

lol, no - what ensued was the embarrassing bit - mass media attention, feeling that she let the royals & employer down etc
