**OcUK CYBER MONDAY MENTAL NVIDIA DEALS!!**

I am curious to see what people think of running them in SLI. I cancelled my order in the end so it could go to someone else. Having originally owned 480 SE sli, I felt the reference version would be far too loud for me.
 
Dispatched late last night and arrived early this morning, pretty impressive!
I don't think my PSU has the right connectors though, so may need to make another purchase.
 
Also arrived today - full marks for speed, but card is broken. I guess I will only get a refund now as all 480s were probably sold by now. So double sad face :( :(
It was well packed and the box was intact - OCUK needs more QCUK... ;)

Well don't think that comes under cosmetic defects as slightly more than that, hope mine is safe and sound
 
I've sent a message to the support, just need to wait for an answer now. I can't imagine anyone arguing that this is cosmetic damage though - not even the notorious refurb XFX store :)
 
Mine arrived and works perfectly though I did have to bend the I/O shield back into shape with a pair of pliers which suggests it had been used before (which is fine) but it also had a new cooler with the plastic film still on.
So I think mine had been used, the cooler broke which later got replaced with a new cooler

Anyway bargain for £72 :)
 
sadly the gtx 460 i bought, i think is still faulty - pc just beeps when card installed, swap back to original card and all is fine :(
 
Got mine today, sadly don't have my modular cables with me at Uni so will have to wait until next week to get set up with sli.

From trying to guess what was replaced it looks like a whole host of things was, like the main ports, some caps and some things I can't see, but I guess it has a warranty so if anything else goes wrong I'm covered.

But all in all great price & service from OcUK as always!
 
Got my 440s today and I definitely got lucky in the silicon lottery! I ordered 1gb DDR3 models and received 1gb DDR5's! Just need to test they work, but all look perfect, so very happy bunny. :)
 
Ah well, I would have picked up the 470, but I got a 5850 with an after-market cooler on the MM for the same price.

At least the 5850 will be quieter and more power efficient :D

At least I paid £60 so didn't lose out financially. Could have done with a one year warranty though.
You certainly picked the right time to sell!

Maybe 480s will drop under £70 on the MM now.
