Well any phone compared to the note II (aside from RAZR MAXX) seems pathetic
This is as good as the GS 3, S/XL, if not better.
True but this is getting into phablet territory at 5" so I'd be expecting something bigger
Looking at that promo vid I'd be severely pee'd off if someone poured hot coffee on my phone even if it was by accident and the women causing the accident was fit! *shakes fist*

That video is LIES! Apart from the horrifically hot girl featured in itD), that camera would not get that kind of bokeh in the picture he drew!

Still the phone does look very good and has certainly got my attention

It's going to be amazing.
I'm so glad I cancelled the Nexus 4 order, am eagerly awaiting the release of this. The only thing that might make me hold back buying this is the rumoured existence of the M7.
- If you don't mind spending an extra £200 (assuming you will be buying outright)
- If you don't care about stock android and having a nexus device

Probably won't be getting the nexus 4 now, seems more like a side/down grade overall from the S (still a lovely phone though and can't go wrong for the price), so will wait for this and see if Samsung bring anything out to match it.
The only thing that would stop me from getting another HTC device is the way they go about software updates and releasing a different version of the main phone like every month

I imagine there's gonna be a plethora of 1080p/Snapdragon pro phones out next year. The trick as always is finding one your comfortable with and trying to avoid all the hype of the others, which is not easy
