AMD's new drivers and the top end 7970

Hey guys, I was looking around and I see AMD has released a new driver which is squeezing yet more power out of their graphics cards.. Also, their top end 7970 is cheaper and a hell of a lot faster then their 680 cards. What do you think Nvidia's response will be? Higher clocks? Pushing the bar, squeezing the drivers?

This year might be the year I finally switch to those monstrous AMD cards

Once 12.11 hit i believe their response went a little something like this.

nvidia cards will still sell no matter what and i would not say the 7970 is a hell of a lot faster but it is faster than the 680
