Hi guys,

I have been meaning to build a pc for sometime now but never got round to it. I am in need of one as my laptop is about to fry.

I have been recently researching on parts but would like to get some help.

I am looking for a machine that can play the new games decently at mid - high settings. I would like a future proofish pc that can last a few years before I upgrade it.

There are a few things that I don't need:

OS
Monitor
Keyboard & Mouse
Speakers etc.

I do need a wifi adapter though as my router is too far from my room :(
I would prefer Intel as I haven't had much luck with AMD's.

Looking forward in seeing some specs.

Thanks in advance for anyone spends their time looking into this. :D

- i5 will be great for gaming.
- Motherboard would support crossfire.
- After-market cooler.
- Graphics card will easily run games on medium settings.
- PSU will allow crossfire (correct me if I'm wrong!)

mboard supports crossfire @ 16x/4x which isnt the recommendable

the psu will and will not support crossfire as it only has 2 6pin pci-e connectors and that 7850 takes 2. so you would need to buy 2 molex to 6 pin-pic-e conenctors which is a tad messy.

I see, I'm ill informed about the crossfire situation.

Its still a good build because crossfire probably won't be needed

i agree crossfire probably wont be needed, better off pumping money into a better single gfx card

realise theres no wirelss on here, can get the usb on incog spec or get a wireless card. or what i do advise is for you to look up home plug / ethernet plugs and get a wired connection into your pc.
