We all know that Facebook has more information about any of us than we care to think about. Influenced and controlled by the governments, it is currently filtering queries through its user database to guage the reaction to the events coming up this solstice.
I just got this in the margin on FB as a sponsored poll. It says a lot about informaiton being dripfed to us about upcoming events in the next few days.
IF on 21/12 an alien sentient machine capable of modifying your feelings made itself known to you, and posed the question of whether or not you desired its presence in your world to you, what would you say? Assume this machine has been influencing our society, both positively and negatively since pre-history -- from the dark ages to the invention of the scientific method.
