Trying to buy a PC bundle and under 'Select your build time' it says 'delivered within 5-7 working days' but when I go to checkout it asks me what delivery options I want, do I just select collect from in-store so that it's free and the PC will be delivered? I would call them but they're closed atm.

It's not paying for it to be made quicker, you will usually have to pay shipping (around £11) To have parts of a computer sent. Would imagine it's around the same for a full build.

Beaten by 2 people, gg me

I can see where the confusion is, but all its saying is that it will be built and delivered within XX days (assuming next day shipping has been chosen).

It may not be the best wording but "delivered" in this case means it'll be ready to ship/collect in 5-7 working days.

You will have to pay for shipping or you can collect in store for free.

When it says £0 it's not actually £0 this is simply a benchmark which other delivery methods are measured off. When you view your basket you'll see the amount. This is the default option and generally the normal method of delivery.

Wording should be changed. "Ready to ship in 5-7 days £0.00." Then it would be easy to spot that paying extra to reduce the "Ready to ship" time incures extra cost.

"Delivered" does imply it will be delivered in 5-7 and the allocated cost is £0.00. Paying to reduce the ready to ship time, is that then reflected in the baskets shipping costs or is that still added ontop. Are you just paying to reduce the wait but still having standard shipping and delivery time/costs.

Its as clear as mud to some one filling a basket and getting ready to pay. Then seeing an extra cost over and above the build time primeum.

Out of the thousands of systems and bundles OcUK will have shipped this is the first thread I recall querying this.

I guess everyone else understood what it means.

Yeah, I can see where he's coming from though. If you read it the wrong way or don't expect a delivery charge in the first place then it does look like it's offering free delivery.
Although it does say "choose a build speed" right above.

True, but how many people left without querying it and just clicked off the site?

Best to change the wording.
