@Kaap, that is really poor. Is the dual D5 pump/res supposed to be a sealed unit from XSPC or is it put together by OcUK? If its the latter then I truly believe someone at OcUK who puts together pump kits isn't sure what they are doing. Earlier in the year I had a D5 with top combo, first one arrived cracked (too tight) the replacement leaked (too slack). I know Cleee had the same pump/top combo as me which was also too slack.
Tbh you'd be better off starting your own thread, giving someone a spec/advise can take a while.

Speaking of which I'm ditching my raystorm on rebuild in favour of a Kryos HF.

Yes, a single 360 would be enough to cool those components with little noise.
My pump combo (albeit different) came in its own marked "XSPC" box
Mine was the single D5 one however, i doubt OCUK would be responsible for attaching the pumps, not sure about making up the kits though...?
Really unlucky though Kaap...Still no word from OCUK?
The res comes in a box with the metal mounting bracket for the pumps. The one pump that was supplied was just loose in the kit box(no individual packaging). There are no assemblely instructions which is a bit worrying going by some of the comments about broken/leakage problems
Not a cube any more
Since then I found out I have a kid on the way so room is optimal, so sticking with tower, depending what cash flow is like I'll either be modding my 800D (if I'm broke) or I'll be buying an XSPC H1 tower case.
Again depending on cash flow I'll either be starting the modding in the coming weeks, otherwise it will be straight after xmas.
I would have gone for a Koolance 370SI block (excellent performance and reviews) but I just don't like the look of them unfortunately.
I have big ideas for the re-build but what happens in the end I'm not sureeven going as far as custom backplates for my GPU's, custom midplates and front panels for cases as well as some other treats.
I'm now ditching anything thats plexi completely. The two plexi components in my loop, D5 pump top and Raystorm clamping bracket have both started to fracture, so will be 100% copper/stainless/nickel/delrin/acetal from now on.
Give OcUK some "What for" Kaap. I would be gutted.
Give gregster or one of the other guys that have an xspc d5 bay res a shout, I'm sure the mounting method will be the same on both types.
I would think an oring is required though...
If you bought the pumps from us give us a ring as all pumps should come with an o ring.
MAny a pump I have put together and very few have had a ring missing. Plus we probably have some spares![]()
