Is it worth swapping a 6970 for a 7950

I'm going to to be getting some money for Christmas and was thinking of may be swapping my graphics. I currently have a 6970 and was thinking of swapping it for a Gigabyte 7950 Windforce 3X. Do you think it's worth upgrading my 6970 for one of these?

The problem is this may be my last chance to swapping my 6970 for some time. Main games I play are Rise of flight and l4d 2, though I do fancy getting Far cry 3.

Sell your 6970 and get a 7970. Or hold out until the 8 series in March time? You won't see that much of a difference I think. Look at benchmarks.

Looked at some bench marks there not to far apart, may wait for 8 series or get a bigger SSD.
