Says it all really.

These types of loans are there to exploit foolish people who are terrible with money, greedy, and not too great with common sense in general, as you've shown here. Sorry but this is classic. You "need" money asap (no you don't - you just wanted something you couldn't afford but instead of saving and waiting you just said sod it...) so you reach for the nearest crazy-rate loan, don't pay attention to any of the details, don't keep a copy of the agreement, then proceed to mess up the payments royally and post your personal info all over the net.

It is in your interest to:

1) delete your posts in this thread, with the image, asap
2) get that loan paid off in full, asap
3) stop taking out stupid loans
4) stop posting personal info on the net

Personally I'd avoid these sorts of things at all costs, but that's a massive assumption to pull out of thin air. The money could have been for anything!

Like what? Seriously. If you don't have £500 tucked away somewhere for real emergencies then you're doing it wrong.

OP can tell us what it was for. I'm genuinely interested.

Yes mate i was pretty desperate. Wife left me with literally a few quid to my name. Had already sold anything of value including PC, car etc and took this loan to pay for stuff like food and heating. All debts have sincve been paid off and this is the last one now im trying to sort. But im disputing what they say ive paid and asked for a statement and a copy of the agreement.

I wont be taking out any more loans as im now on my feet again thankfully.

Horrible situation and glad you're out of it. But this is a serious life lesson and a situation you shouldn't have let yourself get into.

Get the police involved if it's fraud you suspect.

Looks more like that somebody forgot to remove all three copies before filling out another form to me, hence the second form over the top via carbon.

Your spec says otherwise. Not having a go but this is a very very common attitude. People are very quick to say that what comes in goes right out again on food and rent but then luxuries start popping up like tablets, pub trips, mini breaks, cinema tickets, takeaways etc. It's very easy to consider these things as every-day "part of life" expenses but they're not. They're luxuries. I have no idea what you spend your money on but it would be an absolute miracle if you couldn't cut down somewhere and find £500 a year for emergencies. Seriously. If you really look at what you're spending it'll be there somehow.

Personally I think it's pretty irresponsible not to have at least a couple of grand in savings if you have family or a partner, and at least £500 or so if you're single. You can't put yourself in the situation where if things go totally belly-up suddenly you can't eat or house yourself or your family. If it means no takeaways for a year then so be it.

I also live pretty much hand-to-mouth by the way. I'm not saying this from some wealthy pedestal. What I earn goes straight out again in rent, bills, food and essentials for the kids. Then there's a very very small savings pot which is totted up monthly for emergencies. As far as I'm concerned that's a basic and critical way of living, especially during a recession.

I think thats what i need to do tbh, even if its only £50 a month going in it.

aye even £20 a month quickly adds up. can do other things quickly too like downgrading mobile package by a tenner a month, changing from some tv package to freeview, call car and home insurance and ask for a discount - i did that last week and got £100 a year off my car insurance for just asking! - and sell some stuff. the amount of redundant rubbish people have is nuts. all those old dvds - car boot them for 50p each that'll add up. loads of other ways. me and my missus went on a saving and selling blitz last year and it's been an eye-opener....

Yep my contract was cancelled a couple of months back and im now on a £10 giffgaff PAYG SIM. Only have freeview, abd i have the cheapest virgin broadband package.

So if that is not your correct name on the copy they have sent you how can they legally insist your not paying the correct amount. That could actually be the other persons credit agreement.
