metro 2033 physics.dll issue

i just finished downloading metro 2033 and i cant play it because it cant find physics.dll file.

ive never had an nvidia card in my computer so how can i get around this issue?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\metro 2033\install go here then run the physics install as admin from that folder ,worked for me

it didnt work, it tried to uninstall physics but when i tried to load the game back up it came up with the same issue.

ive deleted the entire game and im re downloading it to try again. stoopid computers

What drivers you using? I remember having that problem too. I think I installed the standalone PhysX drivers and it worked in the end.

run the setup in the game folder, do it twice thats what I had to do.

Have you tried to do a simple restart of the computer?

I vaguely remember that being related to this issue.

Had the same issue today after the game was run for the first time. All you have to do is restart steam.

Had that problem before, i can't remember what i did to fix it though, i did some googling to find the solution.

Edit: I think i downloaded the above file and put it into the Metro folder.

I had it but a restart of the computer fixed it.

yep restart needed then should work after reinstall/set up
