I had a interesting discussion with a friend of mine the other day..
I am, and always have been a head-in-the-clouds romantic, and have always believed in meeting "the one".
However, events over the last few years have made me quite cynical.. To the extent where I've thought "the one" is just a unattainable fantasy, and the reality probably is people get together and settle down when they have an appropriate level of attractiveness for each other and emotional compatibility.
Thoughts?
