Hello,

I've been looking to replace my ageing PSU for sometime, I've had no problems at all with my Seasonic S12 500w (Bought from OcUK in ~2006) However you car hear the PSU is under stress when I've placed it in my current sig (Nothings Overclocked at the moment, but I will and like to have a bit of room for a decent GFX card)

The S12 I have can only provide 36A on the +12v rail. Nvidia recommend 40A for my graphics card (Old I know, its on the list to replace)

As an impulse buy I bought the Corsair Builder Series CX 600W V2 '80 Plus. I normally do quite a bit of research into products but I needed it asap as I've managed to palm off my old PSU into something else.

I've received it today from OcUK, not opened it yet but after looking around on the net it appears to be the budget line of PSUs and hardly can find any reviews of the unit.
I get that feeling of regret that I should have gone for the Seasonic S12II 520W '80 Plus Bronze' as I've been so happy with my Seasonic for all of these years!

Stick with the Corsair or send it back and wait for the Seasonic stock?

got the same one myself, works good tbh, also have a cit 750 and a huntley 600 as well, have tried a few over the years and tbh not had any real problems with any branded ones so far

Nothing beats seasonic for quality PSU's, however there is absolutely nothing wrong with that corsair and I would be very surprised if it didn't provide many years of faithful service. I wouldn't say it is worth sending it back.
