before i start, i have a dog (King Charles Spaniel) a cat and 10 fish, 3 kids and a missus. :p

but what is it with people who want to take thier dog everywhere they go?

example: my brother in law, has to take his two dogs everywhere he goes, he takes them to work, when he comes over to our house he brings them, and granted he has asked permission, but everytime?

we cant go out on the lash as two couples, because he has to take them home and that involves driving

he takes the dogs on a drive, to a walking location (few miles) and finishes in the pub, with a pint.

but yet his missus is complaining he never takes her anywhere nice !!!!!

what do you guys think, can you explain this to me?

Got a mate like this. He has a Jack Rusell who goes with him everywhere. When he got the dog he was working for a family friend in a workshop who let him take the dog with him.

Now though he's screwed because he can only find jobs that allow him to bring his dog as it is too dependent on him. It also hates other people which he think is 'hilarious'.

I have a husky, and we leave her at home 90% of the time, she sometimes comes along to my gfs parents house for Sunday dinner, but that's because they want to see her. My girlfriends friend however has the worlds most annoying Jack Russell and brings it everywhere, including our house. I didn't mind it at the start because it was just a pup, but she doesn't ask and I think just assumes it has a standing invitation. Hate that little scrote!

lolz i am laughing so hard

i truly wish i had thought of that as a punchline for 3 pages in :)

Ditto. Wife stayed at home (stereotypical), guy was always out with the dog and he was a Jack Russell as well.

As I use the bus and trains a lot, what do you guys think about people having their dog onboard? I don't really mind but I have seen it from time to time.

And while we're at it:

what is it with people who want to take thier kids everywhere they go?

Most of my friends for example, take their kids everywhere they go, they takes them to shops, when they come over to our house they bring them, and granted they have asked permission, but everytime?

We can't even go out on the lash as two couples with most of them, because they have to take their kids home and that involves like babysitters and stuff.

;)

People and their family members, eh?

People who behave like the person in the OP have a mental disorder and should seek medical help.

My wife's ex was like this, can't do anything without the dog, dog slept on the bed, dog sat on the sofa, dog had to have Sunday lunch, dog had to have a certain amount of treats left if they went out with out it, dog had to have something brought back for it when they went out.

FFS man, seek help you cast iron ******* loony.

Truly excellent reply - I was thinking along the same lines but sadly you stole my thunder.

Personally although I no longer have a dog, I much prefer them to people if I'm honest.

People like this really annoy me.

My mother gets all gooey over dogs, calls them "my baby!" and "my darling!" and the such like. It's not a child its a smelly dog FFS! Makes my stomach turn.
