why not just keep her original name rather than confuse her with a "new" name?

She's a rescue dog that was found as a stray and has been given a rubbish placeholder name which she won't have had time to get too attached to.

I'm not really for or against that particularly but I think that's the way it's going to go. The other one's got quite a Scandinavian name, being a Norwegian Elkhound, they'll probably do similar with this one.

Some good ones in here, I'll filter out the daft ones and give all six remaining names to my parents
