My son really enjoys anything having to do with Gundam, so the last thing on my list is to buy a Gundam kit. I'm interested in knowing if anybody can suggest a known Gundam kit that is worth anything up to the £50 I'll be paying for it.

He's almost 19 so and an art student, so the more difficult it is, the better....

Suggestions please...

TY

Gundam kits come in many different types, the most complex being the perfect grade line, but they are bloody expensive.

A few places to try

Sheffield space centre. you'll have to phone them to see what stock they have.
Tokyo toys.
Comet Miniatures. normally have very good selection.
Gundam Mad.

If you don't mind importing then Hobbylink Japan cannot be beaten. I've bought quite a few gundam kits from here, shipping prices aren't bad, but you will get clobbered for import taxes.

try and find out what gundam series he is into.
finding out the right one would be a big bonus id imagine

TokyoToys is your best bet for fast delivery seeing as they're located in London.

As Kmax said, it's important to know which Gundam series he's a fan of as there's quite a few series with different Gundam in each.

Pretty cool in my opinion. You can get it near £50 on ebay. Has a lot of weapons that come with so there's a lot of ways your son can choose to have it on display.
