Msi 7970 Oc bad overclocker

No but what clocks it can achieve on stock voltage will give you an indication of how the card will shape up with higher voltages and clocks.

What is with the negativity? - You sound childish. I'm not picking fights or pointing fingers, but you'll find that attitude really isn't welcome.

Contradict your self much?

I agree, it probably doesn't mean anything - yet. That's not to say the theory is completely made up or false.

You must be kidding lol, im not sounding negative, im stating facts, if a card has higher stock voltage than say same card but different make, if the 2 cards are combined to see who clocks faster what happens if both cards have the same clock speed and memory but one of the cards has a higher stock voltage than per other card,

then it will 100% clock higher than per say other card.

so when people say check out my overclock at stock voltages you better be sure to ask them what there stock voltage is to begin with.

anyway, you need more education.

The 7 Series are not like the pervious generation there bios`s stock voltages can all be different, unless you get REF vs REF cards that way you will know 100% sure that the bios on those cards are identical to the bios on the other card per say EXACT same Stock Voltages..

and the only way to be sure that they have good clocking cards [NONE REF] is to get them to use msi or what ever they use to overclock and set there voltage to stock REF voltage (same as Reference) voltage then see how high they can get at Stock Ref Voltage. ;)
