Normal Temperature for FX 4100?

My CPU idles at around 20-23 degrees, I have OC'd it to 4.0GHz and it goes up to 47 degrees after playing BF3 for half an hour. What temperature should I start worrying? Thanks -Beef

AMD list the max 24hr temp as 70C. For reliability try and stay well below that.
Use Prime95 or IBT when checking temps, although some may say "overkill" it's a worst case test.

47 degrees is way in the safezone, when you get to temps like 80 i would start to worry

60, 65C tops. Usually the target for overclocking on AMD.

Ah OK. As you may have guessed I'm fairly new to overclocking. I think I'll leave it at 4GHz to be safe. No need for me to go any higher. Thanks guys
