So, my missus bought me these ankle boot things at a car boot sale a few years ago. I was skeptical about them at first as I thought I'd look like a pirate, but I wore them for a while and grew a deep fondness of them, so much so that we covered many miles together, had many a good time, and many a bad time. We became inseparable, we did everything together, they became my sole shoe (if you'll pardon the pun). Unfortunately, as with anything, they weren't indestructible, and gradually they became unwearable, my feet would get wet and they began to resemble leather sandals... I miss my shoes and have been on a hunt for a pair (or similar for a long time now). I even emailed the company who made the shoe, but they had none in stock and had no plans to make any more. I'm quite tempted to ask them to make an entire batch for me, but first thought I would ask here, on the off chance some awesome person can help.

Thank you, deeply, in advance.

PS The company are a Dutch firm called Invito.

Here's a pic I took before they were completely destroyed.

Wow.....Why would someone want boots that look like a tramps worn them for 20 years...

Each to their own I guess. Good luck finding them.

I might add that that was a picture I took of them as they were nearing the end of their life.

You should have :D

Was in a shopping centre in London some months ago and came across a designer store (can't even remember what brand but it was obscure) selling shoes that looked like they were well worn and really had to look up close just to make sure some scruff hadn't tried on a new pair and walked off with them leaving his old battered shoes on the shelf!

Never knew such "style" of shoes were sold :p

Look at All Saints and Hudson for some similar styles. Asos probably has a bunch as well.

Give me a minute to set my time machine to Victorian times & I'll grab you a pair, What size ?

I like them. Will work well if you can pull of the Johnny Depp/Brad Pitt scruffy look without turning into a tramp :D
