Anyone know where I can pick up a decently priced 1080p laptop? Graphics capabilities aren't important but snappiness and speed is. £500 is my budget but would rather it be lower.

1080p laptops could be a very high price. I will look around for you and what specifications are you looking into? (CPU Speed/Core, RAM, HDD Size, Graphics size etc). Post back with this information. :)

The graphics really don't matter much. What matters is speed in general. I can't stand choppy laptops. An i5 would probably suffice with 6gb ram. And I wouldn't mind an SSD.

Insprion 15R SE is on offer atm, that's probably going to be your only shot of 1080p and i5 for around £500

Meh, had bad experiences with dell. Don't trust their products. If I was to scrap the 1080p and say 900p? or 720p? But with a current gen i5 or better with an ssd? Surely that would be possible for £500.

It's a pity you're not keen on Dell; I have a Latitude E6520 for sale that meets your requirements. It has over two years of on-site next business day warranty remaining, if that is your concern. I've been instructed that while I may inform you of the fact that I am selling it, we are not allowed to discuss it outside of the members market, so if you are interested, please follow this link. :)
