Google Play Christmas Sale

Google today launched the first deal in what will be a series of freebies and discounts on mobile apps, books, TV, music and movies, now being made available to Android users via Google Play. The “surprise calendar countdown,” as the giveaway program is being called, kicks off with a $35 credit for Hotel Tonight.

So it looks like we'll be seeing more than just apps on the sale this time around.

I thought this is restricted to the US play store only?

I'm not sure, probably for today's promotion. I imagine when apps get discounted then it'll be an international discount like their previous sales!

I remember their 10P app sale a while back when I first got an my S2 it was great!

Sega have a few titles discounted at the mo, that accounts for Sonic.
