Sexy looking games... after mods

In before skyrim screenshots.
GTA IV can be made to look hugely impressive (icenhancer/enbseries/sweetfx etc). I'd say Arma II and Fallout 3 too.

EDIT: While it isn't my type of game, there is no denying the MS Flight Sim series can be made to look incredible. Some shots are hard to distinguish from photographs.

Crysis, was way ahead of its time.

Doubt we'll ever see that again.

But at the moment for realism, Skyrim modded fully and correctly. Nothing is more realistic then that.

For me it has to be the BF2 mod, Project Reality. Some really good picturesque maps, but the overwhelming appealing thing about it for me is its gameplay.

And you don't need a big powerful PC to play this game.
 
Currently playing Dishonored with 4XMSAA and 4XSSAA forced through nvidia inspector and using kakkoii's modified .ini file.

It's not photo-realistic gorgeous like Crysis with mods, but the art style of this game is wonderful and with it all nicely sharpened up and de-foggged it looks really fantastic. Really effective at conjuring a dark and interesting world I'm enjoying losing myself in.
