Best thing to do on Boxing Day is to spend time with friends and family .
Generally not worth the hassle, stay in bed with the Mrs and enjoy the rest of the day with your friends and family.
Or you could do a Mr Bean....
*video*
lol
I'd add a caveat to that though...
The thing that has to be shifted in January sales is clothing, because the stores straight away need to make room for the new season of clothing coming in.
That's why women especially will begin queuing up as early as Xmas Day evening, because there will be bargains to be had.
Other products though, especially anything non-seaonal and a lot of electronics goods, won't be heavily discounted.
Don't bother.... Especially if it relates to Next sale..
It's like OMG BUY EVERYTHING FROM NEXT OMFGZ GET IN THERE
Unfortunately, I'll be racing (well, trailing well behind) the Brownlees in our traditional boxing day 7M race.
Huh? Unfortunately? You lucky so-and-so to be doing something worthwhile. I wish I could still go out clay shooting on boxing day but have to do family stuff now.

Well thats why I italicised the word, to try and highlight that I meant quite the opposite.
You're obviously a sale shopping noob. If you go later then all the good stuff and things in your size will be gone by then. It's all like OMGz gogogo sales etc. But one thing that should be pointed out is that the sales *do* last for more than just one day so you don't *need* to go on Boxing Day/ New Year's Day.

It's rare for an organised retailer to be selling good product at a price they don't want to once Christmas has passed.
This of course doesn't change the perception that many people have of sales but that doesn't make it any less true.
