Mine this year has got to be the killers album "battle born"
Had it in my lugs now for the past months and still going strong.
 
Coin toss between:

Of Monsters and Men - My Head is an Animal

Alt-J - An Awesome Wave


I'm going to go with Of Monsters and Men as I've probably listened to that more frequently.
 
Amy Macdonald - Life in a Beautiful Light

Florence & The Machine - Ceremonials

Both superb albums, especially since they are not from the genre I usually listen to.
 
Atlas Sound - Parallax or Cheval Sombre - Mad Love

Both have been shining lights of the year for music really.

Aufheben by the BJM was good too, something very different from them, but hasn't captivated me in the same way.
 
Tough choice between Anaal Nathrakh - Vanitas, Cattle Decapitation - Monolith of Inhumanity, Woods of Ypres - Woods 5 and Coheed and Cambria - The Afterman.

If I was really pressed it would have to be Anaal Nathrakh.
Vanitas is their strongest album since Hell is Empty... and a return to form after their previous album Passion.

I meant the latest album, I certainly can't see it on there at the moment...
