The 7950.

Because the nVidia comparison on a price point level doesn't compete on performance. Quite simply, the 7950 is just outright faster and a better card.

The 660Ti competes on performance terms - and is slower than with AA applied - a 7870. It's not really comparative to a 7950 other than in price.

Get a 7950.

You guys sure about the 7950 being much faster?

TPU seems to say otherwise

Erm they do at giving you an idea of 2 cards relative performance lol

"Erm" they don't. They completely disregard situations where performance on one brand is unexpectedly much higher or lower.

You just need to have a look at the individual game benchmarks to understand that part. For example their Dragon Age 2 results show there being no difference between that 660Ti, 670 and 7970 at 2560x1600 with 4aa, and a 7950 being behind a GTX580.

Or in Metro 2033 where it's shown that a GTX580 is about 20% faster than the 660Ti.

Or how about Sniper Elite, where it's shown that a 7950 is about 50% faster than the 660Ti at 2560x1600 with 0aa.

What about Starcraft II? It has the 660Ti right next to a 7970.

Do I really need to go on showing why relative performance charts are largely meaningless?

That's not even covering the fact that the review is on old drivers (August).

As I said they give you an idea of the relative performance, of course if you are interested in a specific game then you dig deeper.

A very broad basic idea that isn't really representative of actual performance.

It's like using 3D Mark 2011 to determine what card is fastest at games.
