Boxing day sales

No, I'm a pro hence my comment. I do not have one of the generic and most popular sizes and stuff for me is always there when I go to the sales after the first day. And by all the good stuff what do you mean? :)

It follows that there isn't really a need for me to practically sleep rough. However if I needed an expensive new handbag which is the *must have* accessory or a certain pair of shoes or dress that is in the most popular size, then I might be more inclined to agree with you.

Also, I'd imagine as a fellow pro you'd go to sample sales as well
Unfortunately my dress and shoe size is quite generic and popular so buying clothes can be a bit of a fight. I normally go to a sale knowing exactly what I want from the previous season, or at least know what kind of item I want. I then program my brain so that when I'm out shopping I sift through the clothes on the railing like I'm scan reading - looking for the right colour and material. I generally head straight for the shoes first as they are usually the first to go.

'Good stuff' varies from people to people. Your definition of good stuff might be gadgets, mine might be shoes or handbags or jewellery.

Nah, I don't go to sample sales though :p

Ah sad times- good luck braving those queues :)

You should go to sample sales! Lots of fun (not quite as rough and tumble as the full on sales, but for the most popular sizes it can be lol) and can be quite glam affairs if you're lucky

as someone who likes nice mens clothes (casual) us men usually get screwed in the sales.

women get 50% off and we get 10-15% or some other ********.

the only cheap stuff is the tat they cant sell the rest of the year, which is on sale before xmas anyway

I did the NEXT 5am thing once (never again) and the stuff they had out was no where near as nice as their regular stuff. It was like they put out junk that no one bought during the year in the hope people would buy it thinking it's a bargain and they were right. People were walking out with huge bags crammed full of cheap looking clothes which weren't that cheap.

My brother went during the day and said the stuff they had out was decent-ish.

All opinion of course.
