Worst event of 2012: The uncovering of the Jimmy Savile and others scandal
Most important international moment of 2012: Barak Obama's re-election
Defining song of 2012: PSY - Gangnam Style
Defining movie of 2012: James bond - Skyfall
Personal event of the year: Getting back to playing hockey
 
Best event of 2012: The London Olympics.
Worst event of 2012: Sandy Hook School shootings.
Most important international moment of 2012: Obama getting a second term.
Defining song of 2012: None for me.
Defining movie of 2012: Skyfall
Personal event of the year: Becoming a father. :)

Of course! It's well worth doing, I found a really good club and now not only get to play hockey, but have a new and different group of mates.
 
It's been another mostly crap year to be honest. Too many funerals, huge family bust-up, but on the plus side, my job has become more interesting what with a move into a different capacity.

2012 will be defined for me as when Patrick Moore died, Hurricane Sandy hit, Higgs Boson was discovered (?), and when Felix Baumgartner did that insane jump! Not to mention all the Jimmy Saville stuff coming to light...
 
What 2012 will be remembered for: Olympics, or perhaps Sandy Hook/Aurora shootings also. 100 Year Anniversary of the Titanic sinking - quite a few memorable events this year

Best event of 2012: Can't think, maybe the Paralympics as they got a lot more recognition etc this year compared to before

Worst event of 2012: Sandy Hook shooting/Hurricane Sandy. I'm sure they're are worse events that have occurred in Asia that I don't know of, which is quite ignorant. Also X Factor and James Arthur/Sloth

Most important international moment of 2012: Obama being reelected, world ending in a couple of days (hehe)

Defining song of 2012: Probably Gangnam Style? Not that I like it. I'd say We Are Young is up there too

Defining movie of 2012: Skyfall/Act of Valor/Dark Night Rises/MIB 3 - loads of good movies this year

Personal event of the year: Passing my driving test

Worst event of 2012: Kony 2012 hysteria.

Most important international moment of 2012: Obama Re-elected.

Defining movie of 2012: Haven't seen any near movies this year.

Personal event of the year: Finding out I am expecting my first child.

Personal event of the year: Getting signed and releasing my EP (latter hasn't happened yet, soon though :))

Best event of 2012: Opening ceremony of the Olympics.
Worst event of 2012: The uncovering of historical widespread child molestation cases in UK media and entertainment.
Most important international moment of 2012: Higgs Boson discoveries at CERN
Defining song of 2012: Propagandhi - Duplicate keys icaro (An interim report)
Defining movie of 2012: Nothing really stands out as defining. Lawless was enjoyable though.
Personal event of the year: Can't say yet, don't want to jinx it!

Best event of 2012: Saints getting promoted :D

Worst event of 2012: Peadogedden, round 5 (at least)

Most important international moment of 2012: Obama winning

Defining song of 2012: Meh personally Myth - Beach House, turned a good, not really popular band into a must know about to be cool band, then get ripped off by VW for an advert they said no too.

Defining movie of 2012: Should be the Hobbit but Skyfall, but not for good reasons.

Personal event of the year: Passed my Masters!
 
What 2012 will be remembered for: The British celebrations: London 2012, The Queens Diamond jubilee, and the Royal Wedding.

Worst event of 2012: December 14th. Sandy hook shootings, and mass elementary school knife attack in China.
Most important international moment of 2012: Discovery of the Higgs Boson.
Defining song of 2012: Gangnam Style
Defining movie of 2012: The Hobbit
Personal event of the year: Graduating :)
